John Bajusz

Coach John Bajusz

Coach Bajusz has been coaching with us for many years.  He attended high school locally at Benet Academy where he was an All-State player.  He was recruited to Cornell University (Ivy League) where he had a Hall of Fame career, finishing with school records for scoring, games played and free throw percentage.  He also spent time as an assistant coach at Cornell, Army and North Central College.  Coach Bajusz is a great teacher and has a great ability to transfer his basketball knowledge and experience to young players.

Todd Wolfe

Coach Todd Wolfe

Coach Todd Wolfe played for Michigan State University where he was team captain in 1988-1989, a 3-year recipient of the Spartan Sportsmanship Award and currently ranks 5th all-time in 3-pt %. His college career included two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances, an NIT Final Four and a Big Ten Conference Championship in 1990.  Todd attended Arlington High School and Prospect HS as a four-year varsity player. He completed his high school career with school records in both points and free throw percentage while being named All-State as a senior.  Todd founded Rising Stars Basketball/Crossover Basketball in 1994 and is currently the General Manager of Supreme Courts.

Chris McMath

Coach Chris McMath

Coach McMath has been coaching for a few seasons and begins his third season with us.  Chris was a HS standout at Plainfield North before moving on to play at Aurora University.  He trained with Coach Wolfe and Coach Harrell while he was in high school as a prize shooting-pupil.  He also spent 2 seasons as HS Varsity assistant coach at Plainfield North and Joliet Catholic.  Chris relates well with his players has gained respect as a player’s coach.  Chris also serves as the head of the Jump Start program at Supreme Courts.

Tyson Chapman

Coach Tyson Chapman

Coach Tyson has been with our program since 2008.  He has coached numerous teams of all ages.  Tyson played collegiately at Beloit College (WI) where he was Team Captain for 2 years.  Tyson believes helping youth athletes develop basic, fundamental skills early will fuel a desire and love for the game because the game gets easier as you go along when you are fundamentally sound.  His practices are full of energy, hard work, and fun.  He is also the Director of Illinois Attack and Player Development.

Jeff Blanzy

Coach Jeff Blanzy

Coach Blanzy has coached in our programs for the past four seasons.  Jeff is originally from Dearborn, Michigan. A Street & Smith's 5th team HS All-American before moving on to a college basketball career that began at Eastern Michigan University and finished at Niagara University. Following his college graduation Jeff tipped off a 27-year span of television broadcasting as a sports anchor for ABC.  Jeff still found time to coach basketball and train at the pre-school, grade school, middle school and high school levels for 20-plus years. He enjoys teaching the future stars of today all the skills they will need tomorrow!  In addition to his coaching duties with the Attack, you can listen to Jeff on WSCR radio as color analyst for DePaul University basketball.

Val Pyritz

Coach Val Pyritz

Coach Val has run the girls program for the past 5 years.  She has done an excellent job of developing girls into players through fundamental development and as you can see, many have joined our program because of her work.  She played D1 basketball at St. Louis University and spent numerous years as a high school coach before joining our staff.  If you have a daughter who enjoys playing the game and is willing to work, you will see great results from Val coached teams.

LaKisha Hoffman

Coach LaKisha Hoffman

Coach Kisha is entering her third season with the IL Shock.  LaKisha has a decade worth of experience in youth sports and development.  She grew up in Chicago where she attended Seton Academy.  LaKisha played in college at Western Illinois before transferring to University of Louisville for her final two seasons.  LaKisha enjoys developing player’s fundamentals and really develops the players she coaches.  LaKisha demands effort from her players and helps them reach a higher level.  Most famously, Kisha appeared on seasons 14 and 18 of the Amazing Race with her sister Jen, where they were The Race winners of season 18!  She currently serves as the Director of Programming for the Illinois Shock.
